Lead Regional Brand Graphic Designer
The experience working at OPPO Mexico allowed me to understand the technology market in a deeper way as well as to develop my creative thinking directed towards engaging campaigns that would allows us to expand in a new emerging market (LATAM) as a global brand.
I was a part of the marketing team since the beginning, when the chinese brand arrived to Mexico with plans to widen their presence in the whole latin american market, using the results in mexican soil as a base for their sales and marketing strategies in other countries.

Creation and development of TV spots in the country's most watched soccer matches.

Collaboration in a total of 5 launch events and 15 launched products total (IoT + Devices).

Development of creative campaigns and content for device products launched in the country as part of the marketing team.

Work and collaboration with influencers and key opinion leaders to use their image correctly within MKT's strategy for product endorsement. Some key opinion leaders were Sofia Reyes, Maluma and the FC Barcelona.

Creation and revising of printed material such as banners, subway and OOH ads, in-store retail material and visual presence in magazines such as Moi Magazine and GQ México.

Content for sport events such as Abierto Mexicano de Tennis Telcel and Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Content for PR and constant improvement in brand awareness of the brand in the country.

Presence and collaboration in official brand events and launches. (pre, post and production of these)

Making sure brand's presence and tone is correct and parters follow brand's guidelines when the brand was present in third party events or publicity.

Some of my tasks included:

Revision of material and content from campaigns, retailers, sale points, sponsorships, TV spots and agencies to ensure correct brand's image usage.

Creating campaign for each of our social media platforms and curating the content that is being published like the feed of instagram or the ideas for TikToks
-
Creating and developing filters for IG and TikTok
-
Cross coordination between the local content agency and the brand, as well as reviewing material created by them to align with the look and feel of HQ
-
Revising and approving graphic material to match with the look and feel of each model and brand's smartphone series. (Reno, Find and A Series)
-
International collaboration with the chinese team in HQ.
-
Adaptation of graphic and video material from HQ to local market and language.
-
Creation of Keynotes for product launch events in the country.

Direct collaboration and co-branding with communications companies such as Telcel and American Mobile for the distribution and sale of the product in the country, within tariff and promotional plans. Likewise retailers and department stores. Review of graphic material.
